School of Government and Leadership Think Tank: "New Perspectives and Paradigms"
The think tank created by the Bahçeşehir University School of Government and Leadership began its work in 2005. Our think tank, which has been actively carrying out its work for two years, includes valued participants from different professions, specializations and fields of expertise. The valued members of the think tank had previously taken part in programs such as Political School 1, Political School 2, Terrorism School 1, Terrorism School 2, the European Union Study Program, American Studies and the Global Leadership Forum, gaining knowledge and competence on many different topics. Following these programs, as a result of discussions on a wide range of topics in the programs and a year-long effort under the title "Solutions and Proposals for Türkiye's Problems", they put together a book. Over the course of a year, our valued participants addressed the different problems Türkiye faces and offered rational solutions to them. Published in 2005, this book was very well received and has been used in many studies.
As a result of research in foreign policy, international relations, economics, culture and sociology that began in 2006, the book titled "New Viewpoints and Perspectives", consisting of articles by members of the School of Government and Leadership think tank, is presented for your consideration. As with the first, these studies were produced through an effort based on examinations of various topics and on collected information and its analysis. This work by the members of the School of Government and Leadership think tank, who come from different professional groups and different political views, on the future of their country is of great importance.
I express my gratitude to all our members who, for the future of their country, did not remain mere spectators of the problems they saw but produced solutions to them, expressed these solutions not only verbally but also in writing, and worked on them for a whole year. In addition, we would like to express our gratitude to the Bahçeşehir University community, which made the formation of such a group possible and supported it, for their support for projects that will pave the way for Türkiye.
